This is the hard slab box. We rolled out clay into 5 pieces and attached them.  The new skill from this was using hard slab clay to make a box. It is not my best pieces wish I had but more glaze on so it would be smoother  but other than that I am feeling pretty good on my box.

Spooky tree drawing: This a spooky tree drawing on the iPad. For this we drew layers with trees ion blue with a yellow sky and the closer the trees come to the front they get darker.  The new skill would be using how to use the tools on the iPad to make a good drawing.  I feel pretty good about my drawing it is not the best I have ever seen but I am proud of it.

This is my iPad drawing it was my first spooky tree drawing before it needed to be done. With this one we were just getting a feel for how to use the iPad app. I do not like this drawing because it has no texture it is just a whole bunch of the same size lines.

In ceramics we did pinch pots where you pinch 2 pots together to get 1 box the doesn't open. It can if you cut it. Then you transform it into a figure some people did creatures. Using the soft slab clay we made cups using a paper cup as a mold. We put indents in a pattern using string on the cup. We also put pieces of clay for a 3d figure on it some people did handles. Lastly we did hard slab clay and made a box where we decorated the outside walls how we wanted to.

I believe my pinch pot looks about the same as it did before just smaller and white. I was so happy that my pinch pot did not explode. When I was making it I did a good job of attaching the pieces and none of them fell off.
